On May 11th, 2026 Town of Coeymans Police Department arrested a 15-year-old Ravena juvenile for Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, Trespass, Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree and Disorderly Conduct after intentionally causing damage to residential properties in Coeymans Landing by the juvenile’s operation of a motorcycle.
The juvenile case will be handled through the Albany County Probation Department. Further charges and arrests are expected.
Adults are reminded that allowing destructive behavior by juveniles to property of others may result in charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Please see this message from the NYS Thruway Authority and use caution in the area of the Thruway bridge overpass on Main Street in Ravena. Thank you.

"Due to damage found on one of the steel girders of overpass that carries the Thruway (I-87) over Main Street in the Village of Ravena the Thruway Authority will be performing urgent repairs that will affect local traffic. Traffic will remain open at all times but will be reduced to a single lane of alternating traffic controlled by flaggers beneath the overpass while repairs take place. The Authority has already started the repair process and will continue to work around the clock until the repairs are complete with a current estimated time of completion of late tomorrow afternoon. This worksite will be staffed by Authority personnel for the duration and is expected to cause minimal disruption."

Join the community in supporting our local little league team and be part of something special - note that Main Street will be closed temporarily for the duration of the parade.

It is finally time! This Saturday come out and support HVLL!

Parade starts at Ravena Fire House and will travel Pulver Ave to Mosher Park, over to the little league park.

Opening ceremony to include short remarks from league President, Bryon Barger, and league sponsor, Rob Nolan of Nolan Energy, National Anthem and the first pitch!

Games start at 10:30 on all fields!

PRESS RELEASE

Subject: ARREST – TOWN OF COEYMANS

On February 12th, 2026 Coeymans Police responded to a domestic incident that took place in a residence on Stanton Rd in Coeymans Hollow. Upon investigation it was determined that a female victim had been injured and required medical attention. As a result, ROBERT BECK, age 65, of Stanton Rd was charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Assault 3rd degree. He was held at the Albany County Jail on pre arraignment bail and is due in Court at a later date. Town of Coeymans Police Department
