A marginal (level 1 of 5) to slight (level 2 of 5) risk of severe weather is possible Today across the local area. A cluster of storms will begin to impact the local area early this morning, with the best chance for a few severe storms expected during the late morning through early afternoon hours. Hail to the size of Half Dollars and wind gusts to near 70 MPH will be possible with the strongest storms.

There is an enhanced risk of severe storms Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. The main threat for severe storms will be Saturday evening and night but isolated severe storms are possible Saturday afternoon.
