A note on flock cameras…

I’ve been tagged, messaged, and confronted this week as to why I voted for them. I have replied that I wasn’t on council at the time in 2024, I swore in January of 2026. I say this because I can’t answer people about the discussion or my “why.” It’s not because I feel any type of way about the council that was there in 2024. They made a decision with the best available information at the time. The contract is up for renewal in April of 2027. That gives the public plenty of time to reach out to us and ask questions.
I do believe when it’s time to have the discussion, it will be a more informed discussion for everyone. Clarity, transparency, and regulation would most certainly be the goal. ♥️💙

Local government isn’t easy. The work can be demanding, the decisions are rarely simple, and progress often takes patience…A LOT of patience. But serving my community is a privilege.
I’ll gladly be tired if it means listening to residents, tackling challenges, and helping shape a better future for our city. That’s the kind of exhaustion that’s always worth it. ♥️💙

What a great day celebrating America‘s 250th in Ravenna !♥️💙
My husband and I did the scavenger hunt which appealed to our competitive natures. It was a fantastic way to get around to the different businesses and talk to all the owners.
Hopefully the rain clears for Dek of Hearts at Sunbeau later!
