Several of our programs depend on the Emergency Food and Shelter Program to supplement the support your neighbors receive - like rent assistance or hot meals. After four decades of reliable funds, they’ve stopped.

Our friends at the United Way of Portage County Ohio are campaigning all throughout this month to raise money and replace the suspended funding. We hope you can spread the word and come together, as a community, to care for your neighbors in need. 💗

Information from Shepherd's House of Portage County, 2645 SR 59, Ravenna:
Shepher's House is a night time shelter. When the temperature falls below 20 degrees, we open our warming center at which time individuals who are not registered with back ground checks, may come in. In the event the temperatures during the day fall below 20 degrees, then the warming center is open during the day.

Information from Townhall II:
Townhall II Integrated Health Network and Neighborhood Development Services has opened a warming center at 3761 Lovers Lane, Ravenna, OH 44266, the former Jehovah's Witness Hall. Open from now until at least Thursday, Jan. 23, 8 a.m. It is just down the road from University Hospital's Portage Medial Center.

Both locations have food available.

With the frigid weather our community is currently facing, Townhall II Integrated Health Network and Neighborhood Development Services will be opening a warming center today, Jan. 20, 2025 at 3 p.m. through at least Thursday, Jan. 23, 8 a.m.
The warming center is located at 3761 Lovers Lane, Ravenna, OH 44266 and is the location of the future Serenity House, just down the road from University Hospital's Portage Medial Center.
Center of Hope will provide food for those in need.
We are currently seeking volunteers to staff the warming center. If you need assistance, or wish to volunteer, please call 330-678-HELP (4357).
