King Kennedy Community Center From toodlers to senior citizens, we offer support and assistance to all community members in need of betterment. We are here for you. However, a 3yr.

Our Programs:

SUMMER JAKES KIDS:
• It is an 8 week Summer program of learning, leisure and laughter.
• Registration begins May 5th. The deadline to submit the registration form is June 12th.
• The Summer program is FREE admission. Ages 3 to 12 are qualified to participate in the Summer program. old MUST be potty trained.
• Jake's Kids Summer program will begin June 15th and end August 17th. I

t will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• The Summer program provides educational, recreational and social activities; as well as, nutritional meals and snacks. The educational aspects of the program include: art, science, nature, personal growth, positive interpersonal relationships, health and wellness.
• Youth participants are introduced to fun field trips, outdoor experiences and team building.
• Provides daily breakfast and lunch meals. TUTORING PROGRAM:
• FREE tutoring for kindergartners through high school aged students. Tutoring is from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., every Tuesday and Thursday. No preregistration is required. Walk-ins are acceptable.
• Provides effective and efficient tutoring from Kent State University and Hiram College students, along with volunteers.
• Helps improve children's grades and comprehend academic subjects.
• Raises self - esteem through positive reinforcement and achievable goals. ADULT PROGRAM:
• We offer senior lunch meals for ages 60 and up. Seniors can arrange to have their meals delivered to their home, or pick it up here at the center.
• Meals are delivered Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. However, there is a window to pick up the meals from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Senior Lunch meals are provided by Best Choice


Community Service:
• We offer supervised court community services Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Give us a call and contact the Director Lajoyce Harris. (330-296-9957) Help us, help you. "Your needs, your ideas, your priorities, your center." Additional Information:
