A huge shoutout to Dean Parker with Mountain West Motors for donating cars to be used for vehicle rescue/extrication training. As always thanks to Dave Keller with Jacks Towing for moving and positioning the cars to simulate a crash. Your contributions are truly priceless so our firefighters can master the art of highway rescue.

The U.S. has witnessed a steady increase in wildfire activity over the past decade, and experts predict this trend will continue. Despite spending $2 to $3 billion per year to support wildland fire suppression efforts, the number of homes lost in wildfires per year has increased by 163 percent. Wildfires now cost the US an estimated $63 to $285 billion per year in losses.

Together, we can prevent wildfires.
*Clear dry brush around your home.
*Never leave campfires unattended.
*Follow all burn restrictions.
*Protect your neighbors, your land, and our future.
