Be watching for a new look for the CCEDC page. Since I am leaving for a new job my replacement will need to do a new page. I hope you have enjoyed my posts.

My last day with CCEDC at the office will be Tuesday. Oct 23 and then a meeting on Oct 24th and then I will be moving back to KS for another economic development job with the City of Liberal the first of November. My new replacement is already in my office and her name is Stephanie Lane. Please welcome her to Carbon County and her role as your new Economic Development Executive Director!

Thanks to all who came out for my farewell reception at the Best Western last night and a special thanks to my board members for organizing the great food and cake. I shed a few tears and will always have a special place in my heart for Carbon County! I will be still here at my job until the 21st at least.

You are invited to say farewell to Cindy Wallace, Executive Director of Carbon County Economic Development on Monday, October 7th, 2019 from 5- 6PM at the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn. Cindy is moving back to Kansas to be closer to her family and take another economic development job in western KS. The annual meeting will be held afterwards for CCEDC and you are welcome to stay or head home.

CCEDC will be holding their annual meeting on Monday, October 7th at the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn in Rawlins. From 5-6 PM there will be a reception to say goodbye to me- Cindy Wallace, then shortly after that the annual meeting will begin. Once that is over the CCEDC board will hold their regular meeting.
I am moving back to Kansas sometime after October 18th to take another position in economic development in western KS and to also be closer to my two sons and grandchildren. I will miss everyone here but family needs are calling and I need to be closer. Hope to see you all there at least for the going away reception for me and open to the public.
