🛑New traffic signs in place
Attention all, in an effort to slow down motorists and increase safety for residents and visitors to the Beaver Street Extension area in Ray City, the intersection of Beaver Street Extension and Oak Street is now a three- way stop intersection. The new signs are in place as of 5-26-2026.
There will be a thirty (30) day grace period given to the public before any citations are written for violating the stop sign(s). On Monday 6-29-2026 and moving forward, any motorists observed by Law Enforcement failing to adhere to the stop sign(s) will be subjected to enforcement action.
Any questions regarding the placement of the traffic control devices can be directed to the Chief of Police.

Run-Off on June 16!

The General Primary Runoff will be held June 16, 2026.
Early Voting will be June 8th-12th from 8am-5pm at 201 N. Davis St, Nashville.
The last day to submit an application for an absentee ballot is June 8th.
