On April 21st, 2026, officers from the Raymond Police Department, with assistance from the South Bend Police Department, executed a search warrant and conducted a felony traffic stop as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics sales within the City of Raymond, including activity within a school zone.

As a result of this operation, two adult male suspects were safely taken into custody. One individual was arrested for one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and an outstanding warrant. The second individual faces multiple felony charges, including ten counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell.

In total, officers seized fourteen fi****ms, approximately 328 grams (or approximately three quarters of a pound) of suspected Fentanyl powder, more than $6,000 in cash, and additional items indicative of narcotics distribution.

The Raymond Police Department remains committed to addressing illegal drug activity and enhancing the safety of our community. This operation highlights the importance of interagency collaboration, and we extend our appreciation to the South Bend Police Department for their valuable assistance.
