We had a tremendous turn out at National Night Out and we are so thankful for all your support! Whether you showed up, bought a raffle ticket, represented your agency or business, helped set up, or even just strolled through the park, we appreciate you.

Our community is safer when we come together and because of you we had a very successful event and built stronger partnerships. THANK YOU!

Your RPD Officers had a great time at the Tides and Timbers festival this weekend! We were very busy handing out stickers, playing and watching softball, and enjoying seeing our community and visitors out and about! We hope to see you tomorrow at the same place (alder park) for our National Night Out Event from 4PM -8PM!

Today RPD Chief Matlock delivered pizza and challenge coins to the employees at Steve’s Front End to thank them for all the hard work they do to keep us up and running.

In law enforcement, your vehicle is your mobile office and for us to be able to work efficiently and safely, as well as respond to calls for service in a timely manner, we need dependable and reliable vehicles running smoothly.

Steve’s always make sure we are a priority and find a way to work us in to their busy schedules so we don’t lose valuable time without our vehicles, which better allows us to service our citizens of Raymond. Thank you Steve’s Front End for all you to do keep us on the road! 🚓 🚔 🔧 🛞 🍕

Today Raymond Police Chief Pat Matlock presented Officer Ivy Stafford with the Distinguished Service Medal Award in recognition of her exceptional courage, professionalism, and dedication to the lives of others during a critical incident that occurred on November 24th, 2025.

Officer Stafford responded to an intense domestic violence call involving exigent circumstances, and demonstrated remarkable initiative and sound judgment by intervening without the benefit of immediate backup to protect and assist victims in need. Faced with a rapidly evolving and potentially dangerous situation, she acted selflessly and decisively placing the safety and well-being of others above her own.

Officer Stafford’s conduct brought great credit upon herself, the Raymond Police Department, and the law enforcement profession as a whole.

Today, we applaud Officer Stafford in grateful recognition of her distinguished service, dedication and valor. We are honored to have her as part of our team.

Your RPD Officers had the best time at Touch A Truck today, put on by the Timberland Regional Library! Today’s event had more vehicles in attendance than previous years, and we are so proud that our city hosted it. Thank you to all who came to see us, and to all who helped make this event great!
