๐Ÿ“ฌ Property Revaluation Notices Are on the Way!

Raymond property owners should be receiving their new valuation notices soon.

A few important reminders:

๐Ÿ  Your new valuation is preliminary and will not be final until the Town commits the tax roll.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Please donโ€™t try to calculate your tax bill yet. The new tax rate will be set in September and is expected to be substantially lower than the current rate.

๐Ÿ”Ž Review your information. You can view your property valuation card, recent Raymond sales data, and information about informal hearings on the Townโ€™s website.

๐Ÿ“… Informal hearings must be scheduled by August 31.

โ˜Ž๏ธ Please do NOT call or stop by the Town Office to schedule a hearing. Hearings are scheduled directly through KRT using the phone number provided on your valuation notice.

After the Town Office phone lines were down for several days last week, Sebago Fiber stepped in, quickly switched over our service, and got us back up and running! Weโ€™re incredibly appreciative of their quick response and great service.

๐Ÿšง Road Work Update โ€“ Route 85 Paving ๐Ÿšง

The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) is currently paving Route 85. Crews are working in Casco today and are expected to move into Raymond later this evening.

The paving project is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting.

Please use caution when traveling through the work zone, watch for construction crews and equipment, and expect possible delays. Thank you for your patience as these improvements are completed!

Whether you go all out with a themed masterpiece or simply add a few festive decorations, all boats are welcome! Gather your family and friends, show off your creativity, wave to spectators along the shoreline, and help us kick off an exciting weekend of community fun.
