We are starting something new here at Raymond Fire Department!

In an effort to educate our community on our system we are going to be sharing about how our system runs, our equipment and our people.

To start things off here are some stats –

May 2025 RFD responded to 157 calls for the month for an average of 5.06 calls per 24 hour shift.
This year, May 2026 we responded to 217 calls! That averages out to 7 calls per 24 hour shift. It’s been a busy spring!

Check back to this page for more information on your RFD in the coming weeks and as always BE SAFE

The Raymond Fire Department would like to send a huge THANK YOU to Willapa Valley Elementary for coming out for a station tour and fire education visit on Tuesday, May 26th at Station 55!

Students were able to learn about fire station living and daily operations while also receiving demonstrations of Fire and EMS apparatus, firefighter PPE, Jaws of Life, and hose operations!

It was a pleasure having some of our local elementary students in the fire house! Come back again soon!

RFD would like to give a huge shoutout and CONGRATULATIONS to Hayden Stephens!

Hayden completed the Grays Harbor EMT program and passed his National Registry Examination to attain his EMT-Basic certification. This course is a grind from January-April, taking many weeknights and weekends to complete! We always need certified first responders and look very much forward to Hayden’s service to the community he loves and cares about. Job well done, Hayden!

CONGRATULATIONS!

MAY 9th, 2026 - Members of the Raymond Fire Department and Pacific County Fire District #3 graduated from the Regional Direct Delivery Fire Academy, hosted by PCFD #1. Cadets spent hundreds of hours training in and out of the classroom from January-May to complete this academy.

Completing this academy is no small task, as it takes many dedicated hours away from family in order to gain specialized training in hazardous materials awareness and operations, along with the Firefighter I training standards for professional firefighters.

We want to congratulate members of class 26-1 on this huge accomplishment!
