Behind every statistic is a person who was loved and valued, and every loss is felt by families, friends, and communities. It does not discriminate. We all love or care about someone who has been affected by substance misuse. Overdose is preventable, recovery is possible.

Tomorrow is International Overdose Awareness Day. Please share:
Awareness, connection, open conversations, access to recovery supports and lifesaving Naloxone saves lives.

As students head back to school they may face new stressors throughout their day.
Many young people schedules are filling up with school, work, and family responsibilities. Both Academic and social pressures can feel overwhelming for Youth. Please talk with your child. Let them know they can talk to you, a trusted adult or call or text 988 for mental health or substance misuse concerns, or resources for them or a friend.

A lot has changed with todays Ma*****na. High Potency THC, Intoxicating Delta H**p Products. Who is looking out for our Youth?

Take the time to learn about the dangers of "Big Ma*****na" and their marketing products to youth. Accidental child and pet poisonings, accidents, injuries and fatalities are just some of the risks.

Take a moment to talk with your young people. Kratom products, and newer, synthetic forms known as 7-OH, are available to buy — often regardless of your age — in cartoonish packages of powders, capsules, extracts, gummies and drinks.

“They’re coming in and being treated like (a) person who’s addicted to fentanyl,” Dr. Filiberti said. “The total lack of regulation — not even an age restriction or anything — is really concerning.”
