Thank to some of our 6th grade students and teachers who came down to talk to the fifth graders about what it will be like to move upstairs next year! They even answered questions, making the fifth graders feel much more comfortable about the transition!

This year, our 7th grade students participated in a special collaborative project with Ms. Munson’s 3rd grade art class. The elementary students designed and illustrated their own unique monsters and our 7th graders brought those creations to life by carefully sewing them into stuffed “stuffies”. During Step Up Day, the incoming 4th graders were welcomed to their new school with their very own handmade monsters. It was a meaningful experience for all involved and every student did a fans job demonstrating creativity, teamwork and sewing skills!

What a zoo! Fifth graders studied all about animals, their food chains, the biomes they live in and much more. They created a fantasy animal to present to the world!
