The Willacy County Veterans Office will be in Lasara on Thursday January 15th at the Lasara Community Center between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm. Looking for Veterans and surviving spouses that we haven’t assisted before. Please come by and meet with us to see if we can assist you with utilities. A new ruling limits the circumstances for apportionment of compensation, pension and DIC benefits, and will stop making need-based apportionments going forward.
