Exciting News: I’m Running for Re-Election!

Friends, neighbors, and family—Raymondville is home, and it’s been an absolute honor serving as your City Commissioner. Together, we’ve made great progress, and I’m excited to announce that I’m running for re-election!

Over the past few years, we’ve worked hard to move our city forward. Some of the things I’m most proud of include:

✅ Securing over $13 million in grants for much-needed drainage improvements
✅ Investing $2.2 million in street repairs to make our roads safer and smoother
✅ Securing grant funding to repair and repaint our city water towers
✅ Expanding our water and sewer capacity to ensure we’re ready for future growth
✅ Refurbishing an old reverse osmosis (RO) system and securing funding for additional RO wells to help make Raymondville as drought-resistant as possible
✅ Bringing in the New Day Resiliency Center, which created hundreds of new jobs
✅ Helping bring a solar farm to the city, which will generate over $100,000 a year for Raymondville
✅ Supporting and celebrating the many new small businesses opening downtown and across the city
✅ Backing the city's downtown revitalization efforts to restore and beautify storefronts
✅ Voting in favor of purchasing four new police vehicles to enhance the safety of our city
✅ Building strong relationships with our legislators in Austin and Washington, D.C. through my years of experience working in the Texas Legislature

This is just the beginning—there’s still work to do, and I’m committed to keeping our city moving forward. As the campaign progresses, I’ll be sharing more about the projects we’ve accomplished and what’s ahead for Raymondville.

I’d love your support in this journey! Thank you for believing in our city and in the work we’re doing together. Let’s keep Raymondville thriving!
