New art alert! Orange Burst by artist Nathan Pierce of Cape Girardeau was installed this morning at Memorial Park.

This sculpture will be on display for two years and is part of the Raymore Arts Commission’s rotating art program.

Memorial Park is located at 400 Park Lane behind Raymore Elementary and offers two shelter houses, tennis courts, baseball fields, concession stand and restrooms, sand volleyball courts, a basketball court, playground equipment and a new walking trail through the arboretum.

The third annual Power of Perspectives Art Competition Awards Reception was full of awesome original art, fantastic live music and a bunch of artists and appreciators of the arts who made it out after the storms!

It was a wild day, but we are so happy that we were able to host this event- just with a delayed start.

Power of Perspectives returns in 2026! Join the Raymore Arts Commission for the third annual art competition this spring. The exhibit and awards reception  will be Friday, April 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Centerview, 227 Municipal Circle, Raymore.

Have you seen the Raymore Arts Commission tree on the Christmas Tree Trail at T.B. Hanna Station? We have freshened it up this year with new decor, including famous works of art!

More than 20 trees, along with the Mayor’s Tree, make this park so pretty at night.

Check out the trees and follow Raymore Parks and Recreation for update on our ice rink, which will be opening soon for the season at T.B. Hanna Station.
