It’s been a long day and a long few months but…we did it!

To the people of Ward 4 — thank you!

Whether you allowed me to place a sign in your yard, reached out to share your concerns, welcomed me into your home for a conversation, or showed up today to cast a vote for change — I am truly grateful.

I am deeply honored by your support and your votes. I promise to serve the people of Raymore and Ward 4 to the very best of my ability, always keeping your concerns front and center.

To my friends and family who stood beside me today and throughout this campaign — thank you! I will never take for granted the love, sacrifice, and heart for service you showed every step of the way.

I also want to acknowledge my opponent, Sonja Abdelgawad, for running a great campaign and for her 14 years of service to the Raymore community. That level of dedication is worthy of respect and appreciation.

From my family to yours, thank you!

Let’s get to work!

Friends, today got real—fast.

While I was at Fellowship Church greeting Ward 4 voters, my wife was in an accident on 58 Highway.

When I got there, she was in distress—but South Metro Fire was already responding.

They showed up with professionalism, compassion, and urgency. They took care of her, got her safely transported, and brought calm to a scary situation.

She’s home now and doing well, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Today, I’m not just talking about public safety—I experienced it firsthand.

We never want to see those lights and sirens for someone we love… but when we do, we pray the right people show up.

Today, they did.

God is good.

There’s still time to vote.
Vote ROE. Vote South Metro.

To my friends and neighbors in Ward 4, my sincerest thanks.

It’s been an honor to sit with you, hear your stories, and talk about the future we all want for Raymore. Your trust, your honesty, and your time mean more than I can say.

Tomorrow, the polls open, and I humbly ask for your support. Please make a plan to vote. Hope to see your there!

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the opportunity to serve others. It is a blessing I do not take lightly, and I am grateful for every door You have opened and every person You have allowed me to meet over the last few months.

As we approach tomorrow, I surrender the outcome to You. Win or lose, I will give You the glory and continue to trust in Your perfect timing. Remind me that Your plans are greater than my own, and that my purpose is found in serving with humility and faith.

Lord, I lift up our community to You. Bless the families, the small businesses, and every neighbor who calls this place home. May we be united in care for one another and in our hope for a strong and lasting future.

I pray for our city council—that each member would seek Your wisdom, act with integrity, and lead with a heart for the people they serve.

I also lift up my opponent. Bless them, guide them, and grant them peace. Help all of us, no matter the outcome, to walk forward with respect, grace, and a shared commitment to the good of our community.

Above all, Lord, let us seek Your wisdom and Your grace in all things. Shape our hearts to reflect Your love, and use us as instruments of Your will.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There’s a lot of noise right now, but this election isn’t about the noise - it’s about Raymore’s families, our small businesses, and the kind of community we want to leave our kids. It’s time for a change. Let’s come together and make it happen this Tuesday!
