Thought I'd give everyone an update on the progress of my project to have my "Language of the Ancients" program professionally video recorded.

Since successfully gathering the audio / video data during our 4-camera, 18-audio track shoot we've moved forward with the editing process, and after about 40-50 hours at Prime Time Digital Studio in Providence with my video-master friend Gary I'm VERY pleased with the progress and the product which is being produced. What's remaining is to conceptualize a creative opening sequence which will introduce the video to the viewer, and then to develop the credit roll to conclude the presentation.

Then I'll need to carry out the gargantuan task to make this available to children in schools throughout the USA.

Of course this continues to be a very expensive undertaking. Generous souls who wish to help out can make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE contribution through my affiliation with Fractured Atlas (www.fracturedatlas.org) - a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts services corporation which receives funds on behalf of their approved projects. Please do check them out. More Fractured Atlas information is available if you scroll way down to the bottom of this page.

Anyone know an angel investor???

Stay tuned for further progress reports...

Some happy news! In recognition of our continued energetic efforts to enhance the cultural and artistic growth of children the New England Percussion Ensemble has recently received a "Random Acts of Kindness" award from Bob's Discount Furniture. MANY THANKS to Bob and his wonderful director of public relations, Cathy.

I usually leave it up to the Guestbook page in my website to relay messages and comments we receive following our presentations, but the following one really nails it!

"New England Percussion Ensemble was quite simply the BEST cultural event we have ever had at Berlin Memorial School. Funny, witty, educational, unique, well paced and it held the children's attention for the entire hour. Do not wait to hire NEPE for your next school assembly. Do it now! You will not regret it. This was fundraising money well spent." - Gina Cranford, PTO, Berlin Memorial School, Berlin, MA (from our May 22, 2015 visit).

Thanks, Gina!

GOOD NEWS TO ANNOUNCE -
The project to professionally video record my "Language of the Ancients" program has been accomplished! In solid planning for more than two years, and dreamed of for well over a decade, the video images are now on memory cards and just awaiting the next phase which is editing the tracks of four cameras and fourteen microphones into an elegant final presentation. Some event photos are posted, but please do read this material.

MY SINCERE THANKS TO YOU ALL !!!

Each phase of this project requires considerable financial resources, and is the reason for my launching a fund-raising campaign on www.igg.me/at/NEPE. Although I am totally committed to carrying this out I simply do not have the resources for a solo venture. It needs the help of those who share my passion for lighting the flame of artistic creativity in youngsters.

THE FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN CONCLUDES ON MAY 8TH.
Contributions and your help are still VERY much needed.

WHAT YOU CAN DO...
1. Visit www.igg.me/at/NEPE (spell out "at")
2. Make a tax deductible contribution BEFORE MAY 8TH
3. Help publicize the campaign by passing the information on to everyone in your social and business networks.

A NATIONALLY unique program available ONLY in New England. Help share it with all of USA's children. | Crowdfunding is a democratic way to support the fundraising needs of your community. Make a contribution today!
