To the Community of Reading-

I am reaching out with heartfelt gratitude for the support I received from the community in response to my run for the Reading Select Board. I am humbled by the outpouring of community members who were encouraging, supportive, and recognized not only my desire to serve this town, but that my strengths would have been a positive and welcoming addition to Town Government. It’s been such an amazing experience to have received such a warm and encouraging response. And it has been such a joy to build what I believe to be long lasting relationships with so many wonderful Reading residents.

My three year term on Town Meeting will provide me with the opportunity to bring my strengths to this incredible town. And as I look ahead, I look forward to the opportunity to continue to get involved and to seek out additional ways to serve this community. I am encouraged and excited for what the future holds, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet more of you along the way.

What an incredible journey these last few months have been! Thank you, Reading, for your support during this election season. I'd like to congratulate Mark Dockser and Jackie McCarthy on their election to Select Board. I’ve met so many wonderful people and have treasured the time we’ve spent together discussing their hopes, dreams and concerns for our town. The residents of Reading are truly what make our town so very special.

Thank you to the many people who supported me and my campaign for Select Board. From writing letters to the editor to holding signs rain or shine and everything in between that is required to make a campaign work, it was an incredible experience meeting and working with all of you. And an extra special thank you to my girls, Nicole and Natalie, who pressed on while their mom fought to have her voice heard.

Tomorrow, March 30th, at 5 PM is the deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you from Town Hall. You can download your ballot from the town site:https://www.readingma.gov/sites/g/files/vyhlif1116/f/uploads/english-absentee-ballot-application.pdf You can request an absentee ballot in person up until April 4th at noon.
