The Lower Alsace Ambulance family would like to offer our Central Berks Police family our deepest condolences on the loss of Officer Yeager. Our hearts break with you. She was loved by us as well.

We stand with you during this difficult time…

Today, our department mourns the heartbreaking loss of Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call for service on May 29, 2026.

Officer Yeager served our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She answered the call to protect and serve each day, placing the safety of others above her own. Her commitment to her badge, her fellow officers, and the citizens she served will never be forgotten.

We ask that you keep Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and our entire law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will live on forever. We got it from here.

🖤💙 End of Watch: May 29, 2026

EMS week 2026 is upon us, and we would like to take this time to appreciate our staff! We are a small, but mighty squad, full of top notch providers who care deeply about our community.

Our providers have dedicated themselves to countless hours on the truck, additional time for classes, and training our future providers to be the best. All without blinking an eye!

A deep and sincere thank you to the best crew members I have had the pleasure to work with. Thank you for your heart, your kindness, and your dedication to making us great!

HAPPY EMS WEEK EVERYONE!

Continuing education is a requirement to maintain our certifications, and we always strive to improve. Here are some pics of our learning experiences!

Lower Alsace Ambulance would like to take a moment to recognize one of our own in a huge life accomplishment!

We met Luke Miller back when he was 15 years old. He was a young, curious boy who wanted to learn everything he could about medicine, and how to be a great provider. I think we all knew that he was destined for great things.

Over the years, we watched and helped him grow from a volunteer, to an EMT, to an Advanced EMT, to a college graduate, and now…a medical doctor!

We are so deeply proud of Luke, who will always be “just a kid” in our eyes. Please join us in congratulating the new Dr. Luke C. Miller!!!
