Our 2026 Summer Community Pop-Up Series is in the books!

These events gave us a chance to spend extra time in our neighborhoods, hang out with the kids, talk with residents, and hear what’s happening in your corner of Exeter. We’ve enjoyed the conversations and the opportunity to address concerns as they come up.

A big thank you to The Friends of Exeter Township Police Department for supporting us all summer and the guys from the Exeter Township, Berks County, PA Road Crew for helping with setup and cleanup at every stop.

Not sure if your child’s car seat is installed correctly? We can help.

Join the Exeter Township Police Department for a Car Seat Check on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Exeter Township Police Department.

Our certified technicians will be available to check your car seat and help make sure your little passengers are riding safely.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk ins are welcome.

Yesterday, we had a great time continuing one of our favorite summer traditions with Boy Scout Troop 333, our annual water balloon fight.

Members of the Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department joined in on the mayhem, making sure there was no shortage of water or competition.

Thanks to Troop 333 and ETVFD for another great afternoon. We’re already looking forward to next year!

BACK TO SCHOOL

School is back in session! You’ll see an increased ETPD presence around our schools during arrival and dismissal times.

Please slow down, watch for students in crosswalks, and keep an eye out for stopped school buses.

Expect a little extra traffic and give yourself some extra time.

COMMUNITY POP-UP: ZONE 3, TUESDAY, AUGUST 25

We’re closing out our 2026 Community Pop-Up series with one last stop in Zone 3!

Join us Tuesday, August 25, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the 500 block of Pintail Lane in the Pond View neighborhood.

Come out, say hello, and spend some time with your Exeter Township Police officers.

Zone 3 includes Lorane Orchards, Baumstown, Exeter Village, Lincolnwood, Pond View, and generally the area south of Perkiomen Avenue and east of Gibraltar Road.

The Friends of the Exeter Township Police Department will also be there with free water ice!

PRICE TAG SWITCHER
We’re looking to identify this individual in connection with a retail theft at Lowe’s in Exeter Township.

This pictured suspect allegedly switched price tags on merchandise before making a purchase, resulting in a total theft of over $400.

If you recognize this individual, please contact the Exeter Township Police Department at 610-779-1490 and reference report #25-26-17803.

Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Alert Berks County.

The old switcharoo is a no-go.

FLIM FLAM /(noun): A trick or deception, especially one used to cheat someone out of money.

Now, meet the Flim Flam Man.

The Exeter Township Police Department is attempting to identify the pictured male in connection with a theft that occurred at Giant on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The male is suspected of conducting “quick change” scams at businesses throughout Berks County. In these scams, the suspect uses a series of rapid cash exchanges and confusing requests in an attempt to trick a cashier into returning more money than he is owed.

If you recognize the Flim Flam Man or have information that may help identify him, please contact the Exeter Township Police Department at 610-779-1490 or submit a tip through Crime Alert Berks County Please reference Report #25-26-18954.
