There are very fragile eco-systems living in streams that I never knew existed before I started monitoring my stream.

From tabling at Food Truck Friday, to tabling at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm Festival, the buzz of this summer has lead us to meet so many new and friendly faces. Chatting with others that are interested in protecting our watershed feeds our passion and supports our mission through educational outreach!

Join in on the excitement and visit us at the next event- Berks Fiddle Fest on September 20th- see you there!

Community Action Workshop

12/15/2025

Yesterday, the Maidencreek Watershed Association met at our farm and braved the cold wind for a quick tour of our silvopasture and riparian stream buffer. My dad and I are members of this group which is focused on keeping the streams and waterways in our watershed clean and healthy!

If you have noticed more trees planted in Maidencreek Township at the local park, the dog park, and at Andrew Maier, many members of this group helped to plant and are doing long term care on these trees in our community. Interested in helping out, have ideas for tree plantings or water quality? We meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at the Ontalaunee Township Building at 4:30 pm. Join us!
