The Muhlenberg Art Gallery proudly presents "Kaleidoscope of Imagination: Student Perspectives in Color and Form," an exhibition showcasing the creative talents of students from Holy Guardian Angels Regional School under Mrs. Kasperowicz. This vibrant collection highlights the curiosity, skill, and artistic growth of young artists as they explore the world through painting, drawing, color theory, abstraction, and observation.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will encounter expressive landscapes, tranquil water lilies, and detailed observational drawings, The students demonstrate both artistic confidence and developing technical ability. Their use of measured strokes, careful shading, and inventive color combinations reveals a willingness to experiment while building foundational artistic skills.

Together, these pieces celebrate the unique perspectives of each student while illustrating the power of art as a tool for creativity, self-expression, and discovery. Come see this exhibit, up through the month of June, at the township building at 210 George Street.

Nature immersion, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, invites participants to slow down and immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and sensations of the natural world. This is a guided experience by Aqua Om's Kami and encourages a deeper connection with nature through mindful walking, sensory awareness, and quiet reflection. This will take place on Sunday, May 31 at 10:00 AM at the start of the trail by the farmhouse at Jim Dietrich Park. The cost is only $10.

Rather than focusing on distance or exercise, this practice is about presence. Participants will move slowly through the park while engaging in simple nature-based invitations designed to reduce stress, calm the mind, and enhance overall well-being.

No prior experience is necessary—just comfortable walking shoes and a willingness to unplug and enjoy the restorative power of nature.

“Where Light Finds Form”

This month's artist is Phyllis Moser, a local artist who loves to paint. Her exhibit, “Where Light Finds Form,” assembles a group of works that investigate the translation of internal experience into visual language using light, color, and symbolic imagery as primary tools. The exhibition moves fluidly between abstraction and representation: radiant circular compositions and textured fields suggest energy, time, and emotional resonance, while figurative and landscape works offer moments of grounding in the familiar. Recurring motifs such as halos, illumination, and the heart establish a visual continuity that speaks to themes of connection, introspection, and transformation.

Collectively, these works invite viewers to consider how personal narratives and shared human experiences are shaped, distilled, and ultimately made visible.

This is on exhibit for the month of May at the township building at 210 George Street in Reading, PA.
