Did you know there are a few ways to report a power outage to RMLD? 💡

Here's how:

Start by checking the RMLD Outage Map (https://buff.ly/3toaUA3) to see if your area is already listed. The map shows reported outages, current status, and estimated restoration times.

If your outage isn't there yet, submit the RMLD Outage Form (https://buff.ly/GGcktC0) so our team is made aware.

⚡️ If you ever see a downed power line or electrical equipment, call 781-942-6598 or 781-944-1340 right away. Do not approach the area and stay at least 35 feet back. ⚡️

Get ahead of cooling season! ❄️ 🥵 🏢

Did you know RMLD now offers a heat pump rebate for small commercial customers? If your business or facility is 5,000 square feet or less, you could earn up to $6,000 back on a new heat pump installation.

Heat pumps provide an all-in-one heating and cooling solution that’s more efficient than traditional oil, gas, or propane systems, and they help reduce carbon emissions.

Tuesday Tip! Point sprinklers away from pad-mounted equipment. 💧

As you prep your irrigation system for the season, make sure sprinkler heads are not aimed at pad-mounted electrical equipment. Water and electrical infrastructure don't mix! Keeping transformer boxes dry helps prevent damage and keeps your neighborhood safe. ⚡️

The first-place banner is officially home! 🏆️

Last week, our RMLD line team earned first place overall out of 21 crews from across New England at the 18th Annual NEPPA Lineworkers Rodeo, finishing with a perfect score. On Thursday, Northeast Public Power Association's Codie Perry visited RMLD to officially present the team with their first-place banner, and the entire RMLD team turned out to celebrate. ⚡️🎉

Congratulations again to Lead Lineworkers Pat Fallon and Ray Melvin and First-Class Lineworker Rob Rubchinuk. Your skill, dedication, and teamwork represent the best of what public power and RMLD are all about.💡
