Last week, our students visited Tyson-Schoener Elementary School for a fun-filled community event! Our Cosmetology students put their creativity to work with face painting for the elementary students, while other RMCTC students helped create colorful window art alongside the younger students. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back, share their skills, build connections, and inspire the next generation!

One of our Computerized Drafting Technology students had a glasses emergency — a temple arm snapped clean off. No worries though, he just did what any good drafting student would do: measured the broken piece, drew it up in CAD, and 3D printed a replacement that snapped right onto his frames. Instant fix, zero cost, and he was back to seeing clearly until the real repair could happen. That's the CDT program in action — turning a broken pair of glasses into a quick lesson in problem-solving! And it's not lost on us that this opportunity was made possible by a very competent and caring teacher who turned a small mishap into a hands-on win for his student.

Horticulture student, Ramiro, had the incredible opportunity to witness history as the Reading Fightin’ Phils captured the 2026 Eastern Division Championship! Throughout the season, Ramiro was part of the grounds crew responsible for keeping the field in top shape. After a season of hard work and dedication, he wrapped up his internship with a championship celebration and an unforgettable photo with his boss, Mr. Dan Douglas! We’re so proud of Ramiro and the experience he gained this season. What an amazing way to finish an internship!

Today, RMCTC had the honor of welcoming former NFL player and current CBS and Philadelphia Eagles commentator and analyst Ross Tucker () to our campus!

Ross toured all 29 of our career and technical programs and spoke with students during two assemblies, sharing an inspiring message about hard work, opportunity, and making the most of every path that comes your way.

We are incredibly grateful to Ross (and his mom!) for taking the time to visit RMCTC and connect with our students today. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
