Take a chance on a reverse raffle ticket for a chance to win a grand prize of $3,000!

Our reverse raffle runs alongside the annual Reading Fire Department Turkey Raffle. The Turkey Raffle this year is taking place on November 20th & 21st with doors opening at 7:00pm each night.

Every 25th ticket of the raffle is a winner of a small cash prize varying between $25-$200. We will sell a total of 400 tickets for this raffle. We will pull 300 tickets on Friday night, and the remaining 100 tickets will be pulled on Saturday!

We will pull 397 tickets and then pull the last 3 tickets out and announce the names. We will then ask the 3 remaining ticket holders if they would like to split the prize or continue to play the game until we have a final winner. There must be a unanimous agreement to split the prize winnings. If no agreement is made the tickets are placed back into the drum and we will continue the raffle.

Each ticket is $25! Fill out the information below if you would like to participate.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Reading Fire Department is offering commemorative 9/11 shirts to the public.

All proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, supporting America’s first responders, military heroes, and their families.

Shirts are $25 each.

Orders can be picked up at Reading Fire Department Station 83 or shipped at the buyer’s expense.

Orders due by August 28th.

Thank you to everyone who came out to National Night Out last night! It was great seeing so many familiar faces and meeting members of our community. We hope you had as much fun as we did. We think we may have met a few future firefighters along the way, and it was awesome to see so many people stop by to check out our new engine before it goes into service in the coming weeks. We can't wait to put it to work serving the Reading community!

Kevin David Kaiser passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 67. With a life of service and devotion, Kevin was a pillar of the Reading community and a dedicated family man. He passed away peacefully surrounded by love and leaves behind a legacy defined by an unwavering

The Reading Fire Department mou​​rns the loss of retired Chief Kevin Kaiser today. A lifelong Reading resident and Moeller High School graduate, Kevin began his fire service career as an Explorer in 1975. He became a Paid-On-Call member in 1978 and was hired full-time in 1979. Progressing through the ranks, he ultimately became Chief in 2000. Kevin served on various regional and state committees and associations, including as President of the Hamilton County Fire Chiefs’ Association, an investigator with the Specialized County Arson Task Force, and Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee for the Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency, among many other affiliations. He retired in 2014 after 36 years of dedicated service. Chief Kaiser was respected for his leadership, ingenuity, and unwavering dedication to the department and community. Rest easy, Chief. The Reading community will always remember your service.
