📚❤️ **Arkansas Books for Arkansas Readers!** ❤️📚

Thanks to a generous donor, Rector Public Library was challenged to expand our collection with books **written by Arkansans, about Arkansans, and set in Arkansas.**

We're excited to share that we gladly accepted the challenge—and met it!

This special monetary donation has allowed us to add a variety of new titles that celebrate the rich history, culture, people, and stories of the Natural State. Whether you're interested in Arkansas history, local authors, fascinating places, or stories set right here at home, there's something new waiting for you on our shelves.

We are incredibly grateful for community members who believe in the power of reading and in preserving and sharing Arkansas stories. Thank you to our donor for helping us bring more Arkansas voices and experiences to our library.

📚🦖 **Library Closure Notice** 🦖📚

The Rector Public Library will be closed from 8AM until 12PM on Wednesday, June 3rd as our staff participates in our Summer Reading Kickoff Event, the Read & Roar Bash!

🎉 Join us at Rector Memorial Park for a morning of family fun as we kick off an exciting summer of reading! Enjoy inflatables, water play, games, and more while registering for this year's Summer Reading Program.

The library will reopen at 12:00 PM and resume normal services.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We can't wait to celebrate with you and kick off a roaring good summer of reading! 📖🦕☀️

In observance of Memorial Day, Rector Public Library will be closed Saturday and Monday. 🇺🇸
