Red Boiling Springs Branch Library Read to Succeed at the Red Boiling Springs Branch Library! In 1969, a move to Market Street was mandatory due to a flood.

The Red Boiling Springs Branch Library opened in the Rose York Building in 1963, with Cassie Doss York as librarian. In 1994 it was time for the Red Boiling Springs Branch Library to have a more permanent building. On June 2, 1997, the new 3,000 square foot, bricked building on East Main Street, became home.

Please notice the slight change in hours on Friday, August 28th for both library locations. Macon County Public Library will be closed from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm that day. Red Boiling Springs Branch Library will be closed from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm that day.
