2nd Chance Auto Salvage was kind enough to host Red Hill and Pennsburg Fire Companies for vehicle rescue training on Wednesday night.

The training gave much needed hands-on training on auto extrication techniques.

Both companies have several new members in need of this type of training, and are now better prepared for rescuing people trapped after a motor vehicle accident.

We would like to thank 2nd Chance Auto Salvage for their continued support.

Area departments trained together last night in Harleysville on rural water delivery in areas without fire hydrants.

While that was going on, junior firefighters got an opportunity to train on hose lines and flowing water.

‼️‼️Local Harleysville Residents Upcoming Detour Announcement‼️‼️

A heads up to our local residents who might encounter a road closure this week. Tuesday August 25th the company will be hosting our annual large tanker drill. The drill will be approximately 6:30-8:30PM
Indian Creek Road from Price Road to Sturgis Road will be closed unless you live in the area. Freeman School Road will be closed from Salfordville Road. Salfordville road will be limited access. Groffs Mill Park will be closed for the evening also.
There will be a large amount of moving trucks in the area, please take caution and give them room.

A busy day for the volunteers at Red Hill Fire Company. While working on water rescue certification, the company responded to its 11th call for service today.

The members had a day away from the fire station at the annual company picnic.

A huge thank you to fire police captain Larry Stemple and his family who were kind enough to host the members and their families once again at their house.
