Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Information:

Registration is open for our FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event. The event will be held on Saturday, October 17th beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. behind the YCSWA’s Recycle Drop-Off Area located at 2685 Blackthorne Court, York.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS RECYCLING COLLECTION POST:

Republic Services just advised they have alternate drivers heading into the area to attempt to pick up Monday, July 6th's recycling.

RECYCLING COLLECTION UPDATED:

There will be no recycling collection on Monday, July 6th.
The collection for Monday has been postponed until Tuesday, July 7th.

Trash and recycling for the week of June 29th is running on your normal day. There will NOT be a delay due to the July 4th holiday.

However, due to the projected high temperatures for this week the trash and recycling collection will begin 1 hour earlier. Please make sure you trash and recycling is curbside by 5:00 a.m.

6/23/26 - Republic Services is advising that due to staffing issues recycling collection for Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 23 have been cancelled for this week.. Unlimited collection will take place next week.

Members of the Red Lion Area School District administrative team spent part of their Day of Service on June 18 at Freysville Park, helping spread mulch and improve one of the community’s most utilized recreational spaces.

We are incredibly grateful for their hard work, dedication, and continued partnership with Windsor Township. The relationship between our organizations goes beyond shared facilities and programs—we are united by a common commitment to serving our community and providing opportunities for local families.
