When the pool faced mechanical and operational challenges it was refurbished starting in 2019, and reopened in 2022. As most of you know, the Red Lodge City Pool was closed in the summer of 2019. The pool was built in 1983 and was failing beyond repair. The City hired Interstate Engineering to design and scope the new pool. It is now L-shaped with a beach/zero entry which is a gradual slope and do
ubles as a gated shallow water wading pool, and includes a separate gated splash pad with aboveground/deck water features. The pool and pool outbuilding are ADA compliant and designed to accommodate all ages and abilities. The City designated a Pool Committee to raise funds for the pool, and pool construction is still ongoing as more features are added.
