UPDATE 4:15pm: Public Works has repaired the leak, and water has been reinstated.
Public Works Department has identified a water leak at 117 Susan Way. To make repairs, water service will be suspended starting at 9:00am today and will take approximately four hours to complete. Susan Way, Lisa Way, and Sheri Way residents will experience little to no water pressure during this time.
At tonight's council meeting, the Red Oak City Council recognized Red Oak Post Office Worker Cynthia Ann Brewer for her 24 years of continued service in Red Oak. Mrs. Brewer is retiring from the US Postal Service at the end of this month. We congratulate her on retirement and thank her for her many years of service to the Red Oak community.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: TxDOT has notified us that from March 2-7, they will be making nightly (8pm-6am) closures to the northbound and southbound lanes of I35E at Butcher Rd. The service roads at Butcher Rd. will be open during the main lane closures; however, expect heavy traffic conditions with backups. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes.
With high winds in the forecast, we want to remind residents to bag and tie your trash before placing it inside your grey CWD cart. High winds can cause cart lids to lift and unbagged debris to be blown out.

New Hours for CWD Customer Service.
After careful evaluation of their customer call volumes and to better align with industry/area standards, on Monday, February 27, 2023, CWD’s customer service hours will be changing. The new hours will be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, and 8am-2pm on Saturday's.

Doubled trash/recycling volumes and current rainy weather are making it difficult for CWD crews to complete certain routes at regularly scheduled times. If your trash and/or recycling is not collected on your scheduled day, please leave your carts/containers at the curb, and collection will be completed the following morning.

Due to last week's delay in trash/recycling service, residents on CWD's Tuesday and Wednesday service schedule may place up to 5 additional trash bags next to the cart to be collected this week.
