Hall Jr. started Red Oak Excavating Inc. in 1986. He started the company with a 450 John Deere Dozer given to him by his father, Gene Hall, S., a to***co farmer and a warehouseman. We began by clearing land and doing waterways for local farmers. Projects grew to residential and commercial sites as well as being certified by Virginia Department of Transportation for highway construction projects. Our Company has many years of experience in site work, road construction, pond construction, and erosion control. Our company now works within a 150 mile radius of Charlotte County. As we have grown over the last 20 years, we have completed our 12,500 sq. ft. office facility and shop located in Red Oak, VA. Our company is a member of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Country Home Builders Association.
