Come out to Lake Icaria, Adams County for our monthly partnered program! This program is free for all to enjoy. Due to limited supplies, it would be helpful to pre-register here https://montgomeryccb.org/calendar/beginners-lesson-in-fly-tying/

Each person will create a series of hand-tied flies! We will be tying mostly crappie jigs, but look up some inspiration to get an idea of what YOU might use. We will have fly rods available for practice casting in the driveway.

We will be in Corning at Lake Icaria, Adams County at 12:30 PM today for a fun, FREE program! Freedom Creek Conservation Services has graciously donated a bag of seed filled with beautiful native grasses and forbs for our library program this summer. Shoutout to Lake Icaria, Adams County staff for bringing the heavy equipment and some man power for laying our mulch! Our playground signage is in production and will be up soon.

We will be in Villisca at the community center at 10:00 AM and at Enarson Elementary at 3:00 PM today for a fun, FREE program! Tomorrow the mulch will be moved! Thank you for patience during this process; this is the first playground project we've completed and we've learned lots along the way... Our signage and donor recognition will be up once our sign arrives within the next month!

Camp badger was filled with laughs and good times! Our kiddos today were a wonderful group and planted mini gardens, learned about composting and made their own bins, investigated worms, and played monarch madness (of our 18 kids, only 6 made it to Mexico.) looking forward to next week’s fun!
