🏞️ Dragonflies and damselflies are increasingly popular as watchable wildlife, and El Rio Preserve is a great spot to observe them. Join Pima County Conservation Lands and Resources wildlife expert Jeff Babson to explore the preserve in search of these charismatic insects and discover the secrets of their amazing lives.

Ages 12+. No onsite registration.

🎨 Relax and become the artist you never knew you were! This instructor-led class will take you stroke by stroke to paint your very own picture. No experience necessary! Registration will include 16x20 canvas and supplies to paint. Not included but allowed is food to enjoy during the evening.

🎶 Concerts in the Courtyard returns for a very special 5th anniversary season starting on Thursday, September 17th! Join us that evening for Hispanic Heritage Night featuring Chalako the Band alongside DC Jumbie, El Golden Taco, and Divine Lime Brazilian Lemonades as vendors!

🎤 Concerts in the Courtyard is a free, all-ages series once a month from 5-7PM in the fall and spring. All shows are in the courtyard of the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex. Some seating is provided but attendees are recommended to bring their own. Friendly, leashed dogs are always welcome!

👏 Now that we're past summer's peak, we're resuming our educational program at the Los Morteros Conservation Area at El Rio Preserve!

👣 Los Morteros represents thousands of years of human history set among a picturesque natural environment. On this walking tour guided by a Pima County Conservation Lands and Resources naturalist, we will explore aspects of American history, Spanish Colonial history, and Native American history, all interlaced with the natural history of the Santa Cruz River as well as two National Historic Trails.

Ages 12+. No onsite registration.
