Farmers Market Season Is Here!

Red Wing, Lake City, and Goodhue Farmers Markets offer Power of Produce (PoP) for ages 4-12 years old. This is a 2-4 dollar token to empower youth to make their own decisions at the markets. Lake City and Goodhue offer PoP Seniors.

Lake City and Red Wing accept SNAP payments and offer Market Bucks. Market Bucks is a dollar for dollar match to stretch SNAP dollars (up to $10) to make healthy food affordable.

Bike Month is a great time to highlight some of the biking activities happening across the County!

In 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧, the Depot Park & Safe Trails Committee, in partnership with CEDA and the University of Minnesota’s Empowering Small Minnesota Communities (ESMC) program, biked around Kenyon to identify “easy fixes” for pedestrian, bike and ATV trails that can be done low-cost or with volunteer support.
