The Red Wing Public Library is committed to providing for the lifelong learning and information service needs of the community. We offer a wide variety of materials for all ages, including hardback books, board books, paperback books, large print books, audiobooks, movies, music, art prints, newspapers and magazines. Other library services include free Internet access via our 19 public Internet PCs or via wireless connection, meeting rooms and a genealogical index to the local newspaper.

Growing Glorious Dahlias!
Thursday, May 28th at 6:00 PM in the Foot Room
Goodhue County Master Gardener Kay Kuhlmann will cover the basics of planting, maintaining, and cold-weather care of Dahlias.

Topics covered will include:
Getting started- planting tuber in pots or directly in the ground
Soil conditioning for maximum flower production
Supporting dahlias with infrastructure
Pruning and ongoing summer maintenance
Fall digging and storage

The Goodhue County Master Gardener volunteers will be in the library ready to answer your gardening questions. They will also have resources available to take home.
