A new trail has officially been blazed between He Mni Can-Barn Bluff and Colvill Park. You can now easily stroll or bike from one park to the other.

This segment of the Riverfront Trail has been a decade in the making, and most of it was funded by federal grants and generous, local philanthropic donations.

A grand opening event is being planned, but in the meantime, you can still hit the trail now to check out this long-awaited connection. Happy hiking!

The Red Wing Police Department is excited to announce that we are now taking applications for our 2026 Citizens Academy.

Our eight-week interactive program provides residents with a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with officers. Whether you want to learn more about investigations, traffic enforcement, specialized units, or simply connect with your local police department, the Citizens Academy offers a unique opportunity to learn and engage with those who serve our community.
