💜The Redding Rancheria recognizes August 31 as International Overdose Awareness Day. It was established in 2001 in Melbourne, Austrailia, to honor those who have lost their lives to overdose, support those affected, and raise awareness. Native communities are disproportionately impacted by overdose and continue to experience some of the highest rates of overdose-related deaths.
💜We provide naloxone, fentanyl test strips, harm reduction supplies, and recovery support that respects Native traditions. On this day, we stand together to reduce stigma, save lives, and help our community heal💜

🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️Tonight we traded in the couch for some moonlight miles at Shasta Dam! 🌌💪 Stacey, Charlee, Mo, Joe Villalobos, Meaghan, Miranda Peterson, RN, and Dr. Davis & his Medical Assistant, Jesica…. all showed up, got moving, and had a great time! ❤️ A BIG congratulations to Dr. Villalobos for taking 1st place in his age group! 🥇👏 Well deserved! Great night, great company, and plenty of laughs! 🌙✨

The Redding Rancheria Recovery Department will be distributing purple pinwheels at our Redding and Weaverville locations. Each pinwheel represents awareness, remembrance, hope, and support. 🦋

💜Join us in helping reduce the stigma surrounding fatal and nonfatal overdose. Together, we can show our community that support saves lives and recovery is possible. 💜✨
