You know it was a great meeting when nobody noticed it was running long.

Yesterday, New Life Discovery Project welcomed six members of the CalWORKs Behavioral Health Team and Women’s Recovery & Resiliency Services for a site visit with four members of our team.

We started with a fun icebreaker and plenty of laughter, then settled into the kind of thoughtful conversation and collaboration that makes the time fly.

Pictured are our two icebreaker winners, representing the CalWORKs Behavioral Health Team and Women’s Recovery & Resiliency Services. Apparently, collaboration comes with prizes.

We’re already looking forward to inviting everyone back to continue the conversation and give them a full tour of New Life Discovery Project.

Follow along as we continue building partnerships that strengthen our community.

A big shoutout to our HTNS team! 💙👏

Our Housing Transition Navigation Services team works every day to help people move toward safe, stable housing—helping navigate the process, overcome barriers, connect with resources, and take those important next steps forward.

It takes patience, compassion, persistence, and a whole lot of teamwork. We’re incredibly grateful for the people behind this work and the difference they make every day.

A huge day for healthcare in the North State. 💙

Today, we were honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center in Redding.

This incredible new facility will bring advanced cancer treatment, technology and support services together under one roof—giving patients and families throughout Northern California greater access to comprehensive cancer care closer to home.

For the people and families we serve, having world-class resources like this right here in our community matters.

Congratulations to Dignity Health, Mercy Medical Center Redding and everyone who helped make this vision a reality. We’re excited to see the impact the Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center will have on our community for generations to come.

Celebrating Our August Client Award Recipients!

We were honored to recognize an incredible group of clients during our August Award Ceremony. Each award represents more than an accomplishment—it represents courage, growth, perseverance, kindness, faith, and the decision to keep moving forward.

Some were honored for remaining committed to recovery and building a healthier future for their families. Others were recognized for serving people with compassion, encouraging those around them, choosing hope during difficult seasons, growing in their faith, and refusing to give up when the journey became hard.

Please help us congratulate our August award recipients: Edmond, Cat, David, Nakia, Jonette, Max, Dwayne, Stephen, Crystle, Leo, Jamie, Sunny, and Pam.

We are incredibly proud of every one of you. Your progress, determination, and willingness to keep taking the next step inspire our entire community. Never underestimate how far you have come or the impact your life can have on others.

Congratulations—you have earned this moment, and we are excited to see where your journey takes you next! 💛

A fresh haircut, a new backpack, and a reminder that our community cares.

Yesterday, New Life Discovery Project joined Community Behavioral Health at the Deluxe Inn to launch the Haircut Voucher Program and provide practical support to members of our community.

A special thank-you to The Salvation Army of Redding for generously donating the backpacks and helping make today even more meaningful.

Thank you to every partner, staff member, and volunteer who helped make this possible.
