Thank you so much to ALL of the wonderful people who helped make our first annual fundraiser - “Art for Uganda” a HUGE success! The $6000 raised will go directly towards helping the children of Uganda. Additionally, 11 orphans received sponsorship from a very generous donor, bringing us to a total of $8,750 for this event!

Over 100 people attended the silent auction & cocktail party on August 20th at Margaret Roleke’s home. Fourteen talented artists donated their work, Ancona’s Liquors and Collyer Catering helped feed the guest, and Andrew Wyton provided some great entertainment on bass.

We can’t thank everyone enough for all the help and support that went into making this event successful - the orphans of Uganda thank you as well.

Stay tuned for our next fundraiser – “Nets for Uganda.”
