The story goes that the driver told their mechanic about an air leak before leaving the yard. The mechanic replied that he would fix it after the driver's next delivery. Other violations included three separate brake chamber air hoses worn down through their reinforcement plies, as well as a tire below the minimum required air pressure. Additionally, the driver was in violation of a false record of duty status. Note the air hoses being held in place with a cell phone charging cable.
