Shasta County Chemical People, Partners for a Drug-Free Community is a non-profit, youth and adult led organization, which promotes and supports the development of a safe, strong community for youth and families free from racism, violence, alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse. Located in Redding, California, midway between the Oregon border and Sacramento via I-5, the Shasta County Chemical Peopl

e have been working with youth to maintain drug-free lifestyles since 1983. All of our programs are funded through local, state and federal grants, public companies and private citizens. The organization received its 501 (c) 3 status in 1989 and is governed by a board of directors. Starting out as an all volunteer agency, the company now employs four full-time and one part-time employees. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with the numerous events we sponsor and organize throughout the year. Our office hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday thru Friday and we are located at 2515 Park Marina Drive in Redding. Please call ahead if you wish to stop by and see us.
