The Enterprise Lions Club is assisting the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to locate the oldest U.S. Flag, grab a photo, tell of its location and the path it has taken to its destination and to share the history and story of that U.S. Flag.
Please email [email protected] with your offerings. We are looking for something earlier than a 48 star casket flag. Thank you for your consideration.

HALF-STAFF ALERT
The Enterprise Lions Club, California will be lowering our flag to half-staff at sunrise on Saturday, January 24th on the day of memorial services for Congressman Doug LaMalfa. The flag will be returned to full-staff at sunset.

HALF-STAFF ALERT DOUG LaMALFA
Governor Gavin Newsom issued the following statement regarding the death of Congressman Doug LaMalfa:

“Congressman Doug LaMalfa was a devoted public servant who deeply loved his country, his state, and the communities he represented. While we often approached issues from different perspectives, he fought every day for the people of California with conviction and care. He will be deeply missed.

“Jennifer and I are holding Doug’s family, loved ones, and colleagues in our thoughts as California mourns his passing.”

In honor of Congressman LaMalfa, flags will be flown at half-staff.

A new flag going up the pole between the storms. There was not supposed to be wind this afternoon. Thank you to Enterprise Lion George Traver for putting a crew together. It took the whole crew to get the old flag down.
