In a place where human life was deliberately devalued, one woman chose to protect it.

Stanisława Leszczyńska was a Polish midwife who was imprisoned at Auschwitz for aiding Jews in the Łódź Ghetto. In the midst of unimaginable evil and horrific conditions, she lovingly cared for pregnant women and delivered their babies.

Ordered by Josef Mengele to kill the newborns, Stanislawa reportedly replied, “No, never, children cannot be killed.”

She knew the danger and the suffering surrounding her, yet she continued to serve the women in her care and fight for the lives of their babies. Her witness stood in stark contrast to Auschwitz’s dehumanizing cruelty: every mother mattered, every child mattered, and every human life has dignity.

Her story reminds us that even in the darkest places, we can choose courage over cruelty, compassion over indifference, and the protection of life over its destruction.

As our society continues to assert a right to abortion, may we remember the words Stanisława chose as the title for her memoir: “No, Never! You Cannot Kill the Children!”

📚 As a new school year begins, so many people are carrying hopes, fears, and unanswered questions. Whether you're a parent sending your child off to school, a teacher stepping into a new classroom, a family preparing for another year of homeschooling, or a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy while trying to navigate school and her future, remember: you can bring it all to God.

Here are 6 things to pray for this school year:

1. Pray for courage.
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." — Joshua 1:9

2. Pray for wisdom.
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." — James 1:5

3. Pray for protection.
"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul." — Psalm 121:7

4. Pray for Christians to be a light.
"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." — Matthew 5:14

5. Pray for those who are carrying burdens others cannot see.
"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

6. Pray that God would guide every decision and every step.
"In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." — Proverbs 3:6

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” - Isaiah 5:20

Last week, Massachusetts became the 10th state to remove its gestational limit on abortion, expanding the circumstances under which abortions can be performed later in pregnancy. Women smiled and applauded as Governor Healey signed the legislation. The law is scheduled to take effect in 90 days.

Massachusetts already allowed abortions after 24 weeks in certain circumstances, including when deemed necessary to preserve a mother’s physical or mental health or in cases involving certain fetal diagnoses. This new law further expands access to abortion later in pregnancy and removes all the protections previously in place for unborn children.

This radical expansion of abortion is heartbreaking. Preborn children do not become less human because the law protects them less, nor are they less inherently worthy because society chooses to devalue them.

Yet even in disheartening moments, we have peace knowing that God is still sovereign. Nothing can derail His eternal plans and purposes!

So we will continue:
🤍 To stand for life—from conception to natural death.
🤍 To serve women with truth, love, and compassion.
🤍 To pray for repentance and for a culture that recognizes the God-given dignity of every human being.

As we await the California court’s decision in The People of the State of California v. Heartbeat International & RealOptions, please continue to pray:

· For wisdom, discernment, and integrity for the judges as they consider this case.
· For courage, clarity, and strength for the legal teams.
· That women would continue to have access to life-affirming information about their pregnancy so they can make informed decisions.
· That truth and justice would prevail.
· That God would be glorified through this case and its outcome.

A zygote doesn’t become human along the way, and a fetus doesn’t suddenly become human at birth. From the very beginning, each stage is the life of the same unique human being, growing and developing over time.

Every human life has inherent dignity, not because of age, size, location, ability, or stage of development, but because every person is made in the image of God. That’s why we joyfully affirm and protect life at every stage. 💛
