🎶 Attendance matters because presence matters! 🎶

Today we kicked off our attendance celebration with a dance party—and a special visit from Coach Presence! 🕺🙌

Coach Presence is here to remind our students that being present matters. Every day students are at school is another opportunity to learn, connect with friends, build relationships with caring adults, and be part of our Cypress community.

We want our students to know that when they are here, their presence makes a difference.

Thank you to our families for helping us get students to school, on time and ready to learn. We’re excited to keep celebrating attendance throughout the year!

Recess is such an important part of the school day! It gives students a chance to move, play, recharge, and build friendships. These students are enjoying a game of Gaga ball, while another group takes a break to enjoy snacks and great conversation. Recess is about so much more than play—it’s a time for connection, laughter, and creating memories together!

Movement is so important for kids—it helps them stay active, focused, and ready to learn! These first graders are having fun, getting their bodies moving, and enjoying every minute of it. ❤️ Watching kids learn through movement is a great reminder that learning doesn’t always have to happen sitting at a desk!

Mr. Llamas popped into the classrooms and surprised students with an unexpected Chromebook inspection! He explained how the inspection would work and reminded students that taking care of their Chromebooks is an important part of being responsible.
