AmeriCorps Seniors had a productive week in Lassen County, successfully distributing 140 Disaster Preparedness Red Go Bags, onboarding new volunteers, conducting school visits, visiting congregate meal sites, holding a volunteer recognition luncheon, meeting with Lassen Community College, and more. We're grateful for the warm welcome from the community and look forward to expanding our collaborative efforts to enhance services for seniors in Lassen County.

We're incredibly proud to announce that our school-based food pantry program, a vital collaboration with Shasta County Office of Education and our food bank, has been awarded the Golden Bell Award by the California School Boards Association! This honor reflects our collective commitment to supporting students and families.
