Shasta College YEP The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is a program designed to help young people between the ages of 14 and 27 realize and attain their business goals.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), hosted by Shasta College, is a program designed to help young people between the ages of 14 and 27 realize and attain their business goals. Through entrepreneurship education and one-on-one counseling, YEP helps young people build skills, unlock creativity, and discover pathways to opportunities in small and large businesses. Participants will learn real

world business practices such as leadership development, team building, financial management, communication, and business etiquette. This year marks the 8th annual Youth Entrepreneurship Program's Business Concepts and Video Elevator Pitch Competition. This is an opportunity for our young people to showcase their creativity and innovative ideas while entering to win seed capital to help start their businesses. Remember, all contestants must be 14 to 18 years of age and be legal residents of Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Humboldt, Del Norte, Modoc, Siskiyou, or Plumas Counties in California.
