L.A.W’s Intentions

Draw attention to the 225 miles of trails that exist within 15 miles of Redding, CA. Explore what it is that makes those systems so special. Remove and prevent any wasteful or destructive actions taken by those who don’t practice traditional “pack in, pack out” etiquette. Advocate and introduce to those who are not aware of our environmental luxuries, where the destinations of trail heads or recreational beaches at the lake or shores at the river exist, how to enjoy and appreciate the areas, as well as coordinating group adventures to support anyone who would be hesitant to go on their own. Finally, take this potential movement beyond the reaches of the north state and collaborate with other foundations or organizations with similar ideas and aspirations.
