Just a reminder property taxes are due April 30th. Per SD codified law 10-21-23, the first day of May interest is added. The tax payment shall either be received in the office on the last working day or the tax payment shall be postmarked by the last day prior to the taxes becoming delinquent.

The brown drop box is available for after hours, you can go online to the Spink County website and use your credit/debit cards (there is a 2.49% fee), or you can use an electronic check (1.50 fee). Please be aware that if you drop your payment off at the post office on the 30th, it may not get postmarked that day.

If you are 65 or disabled, you may qualify for an assessment freeze for your home. Applications are available from the Treasurer’s Office and are due back by April 1st. This is an income based program. If you would like more information, please give our office a call 605-472-4583.

Our office will be under construction starting Wednesday February 11- Tuesday February 17. You may be routed to another office as there will be no foot traffic allowed. We would encourage you to plan accordingly.

T,U,V,X,Y, and Z, your last day to renew your licenses is Nov 26!! After Dec 1st your stickers need to be orange or green!!

If you have not paid property taxes, names will go to the paper on Nov 26th!!
